It doesn’t give me great pride being a smelly and stinky smoker – smoking is more of an inconvenience than anything else – having to bother about finding a place to have a cigarette and having to money up in smoke. I have now made the decision to give up, a personal accomplishment too!! I dream of being a non-smoker, not being dependent on cigarettes. KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE, BE STRONG, BE PROUD with one day at a time!!

I wish to be free from nicotine, to live my live to the fullest and not to worry whether or not I will run out of ciggs. To be a good role model to my son's I do not want them to grow up thinking that smoking is something all adults eventually do as I did when I was a child. I have been slowly destroying myself for 10 years but today is INDEPENDANCE DAY, I have to admit I feel like a prisoner who has just been released, it's a little scary but exciting to think of what lay ahead without being anchored down by smoking! yippeeeeee.

To be free from nicotine, to be able to take up lots of physical activity which I miss immensely, to become the strong determined happy individual I once was. Smoking has only created problems for me, healthwise and mentally, I want to be free, fit and live life to the fullest. To set a good example to my boys, I don't want them to think smoking is good or something that eventually all adults do as I believed. I am so happy right now that I shall be free from this prison, that is smoking, and to NEVER smoke again. I am not 'giving up' I am STOPPING. Au revoir cigerettes, bon voyage!!!!!
